Whitefish High School – Day 1

Trip Day: Day 1

Location: Sucia Island

Name(s): Ammann, Xander, Renny

School/Grade: Whitefish HS/9th-11th

Whitefish High School GIS class students made the trek from Montana this weekend to board the S/V Carlyn!

First report back tells us that the student scientists and sailors were moored at Sucia Island, and we know they’ll be heading to another island by the end of Day 2. In the words of the students, ‘Why so many islands?’ and ‘Where are the whales?’ (We’ve been wondering that too!). Hopefully they’ll have some answers in the next couple of days!
