The Sussex School – Day 1

Sussex School is underway and sailing the San Juan Islands! Check out Carlym’s track from the past day!

 

Given that the good ship Carlyn is anchored at Jones Island for the night (see that pink triangle – that’s her!), we’ll most likely not receive the next Ship’s Log until they’re at their next destination, which is Shaw Island. While Jones Island is well known for it’s beauty, amazing beach exploration and hiking trails, it’s of the beaten path and notorious for no service. When you’re sailing, we see that as a wonderful opportunity to unplug and enjoy the magic of the San Juan Islands! No doubt they’ll be more moments to share after their Jones Island adventures!
