Students involved in the Seattle MESA program joined their UW mentors for an awesome day of science and sailing with the Salish crew.
They practiced a number of sailing skills during the day, including raising the mail sail, learning the art of navigation, and practicing essential knots.
In the end it was the remarkable story that was revealed through their data collected during the day.
