It was a chilly morning that greeting the students

and crew. The morning fire line found the students bundled up with cool gray skies overhead.

The day turned a bit breezy as they cast off from Jones Island on their sailing and science adventure for the day, but the day also ended with some sunshine. They are on a continuing quest to determine if they can find a relationship between the amount of copper in the water and the effects on the abundance of phytoplankton.
