Do you have any interesting stories about today….

Cage “accidentally” threw his cap over board. The whole ship was in pandemonium and in kid matter “it was super crazy, man!”

Any favorite wildlife sightings, quotes, games to share?

We saw multiple seals and a couple of the chaperones claim they saw a porpoise. We also played a game called “Pulse.” Which, to say the least, took a bit of time to understand. However, it was also fun. A quote “Face the ladder, face face the ladder, dawg!” that’s a song about safety while we climb down the ladder.

Describe the anchorage or moorage where Carlyn is right now:

Four Winds, westward ho. Orcas Island

Today’s weather:

That’s a bit complicated.

1. First, it was cloudy.

2. Next it was rainy

3. Then cloudy

4. Finally, sunny

5. And sadly, again it was cloudy.

Describe highlights from today’s science and sailing watches:

The true biggest highlight of the day was probably catching those little tiny plankton. Now, you might think such amazingly tiny things can’t be that interesting, but they really are. Also, working as a team to haul up the sails somehow managed to prove to be fun.

Do you have any questions, concerns, or expectations for tomorrow?

We hope that the weather will be amazing by tomorrow, we also hope that we get to test our cool science experiments! And another thing is that we hope we all have the best time EVA!
