Today, we found a detached buoy and rope with a lot of marine invertebrates attached to it and bull kelp growing on it! We observed it closely and discovered many different animals like nudibranchs. Read more ›

Today was our first day on Carlyn. I don’t think it was anything we expected. We split up in two watches; water and wind. We took turns doing science and steering the boat around. We’re going to be studying plankton and turbidity in science. Read more ›
