Do you have any interesting stories about today….
Today it was raining really hard and you couldn’t see the waves because there was so much rain. Then after about 2 hours it all of a sudden stopped and for the rest of the day, it was sunny.
Any favorite wildlife sightings, quotes, games to share?
Today someone saw a deer at James Island and it was much camouflaged and they could hardly see it.
Describe the anchorage or moorage where Carlyn is right now:
There is a big bay and the water is very clear and there is a small amphitheater that we are going to do a talent show in! It also is the camp for summer. There is a beach then the trees come to a forest. On the left is a nice lawn with a big building and on the right is a little path that has a green house on it.
Today’s weather:
It was cloudy in the morning and then it started to drizzle. After that it rained really hard. Then after 2 hours of raining it all of a sudden stopped. It was a little cloudy but by the end of the day it cleared up.
Describe highlights from today’s science and sailing watches:
Today we learned how to use and hoist the sails. We also did part of our experiment with catching plankton.
Do you have any questions, concerns, or expectations for tomorrow?
I hope that both watches will come onto shore after a day of sailing and we will play a group game like capture the flag or hide and go seek tag.
