It was another calm and clear morning sky that greeted the students as they packed up camp and got the boat situated for another day of adventure on Puget Sound.
The students have collectively been provided the skills to plan a trip, set a course, set the sails and conduct science deployments from the boat. Today is the ‘challenge’ day and they will be given the ‘reins’ to operate the boat and collect some science data along the way.
