We went on a hike, but first sailing.  We learned how to put up a sail and some new terminology.  We learned some new knots and hiked to go see a beach

Any favorite wildlife sightings, quotes, games to share?

We saw some porpoises and skittles

Describe the anchorage or moorage where Carlyn is right now:

On Stuart island in a forested area. There is water all around us. The weather is really calm and very pretty

Today’s weather:

At the beginning of the day, it was average, but then it got a bit warm.  The winds were really calm then it started to drizzle.

Describe highlights from today’s science and sailing watches:

Putting sails up for the first time, looking @ the microscopes, and using the colorimeter.
