2015 Spring VIP Sail

Friday, March 20 from 4:15 – 6:30pm

Join Salish Sea Expeditions’ crew and friends, along with our special guest, author and storyteller Joe Upton, on a 2 hour sail aboard the S/V Carlyn in and out of Elliott Bay Marina in Seattle. Set sail with us, learn a little about Salish and enjoy some stories from Joe while we share snacks and drinks with new and old friends alike. This event is invite only.

Joe is a Bainbridge-based writer and fisherman with more than twenty years experience exploring the waters of Alaska and British Columbia. Among the list of books to his credit are Journeys through the Inside Passage (1992) and The Coastal Companion: A Guide for the Alaska-Bound Traveler (1995) which is a must-read for anyone who’se ever dreamt of a boat journey up to Alaska. The latter provides orientation through the complex waterways along with maps and port guides, and entertains with stories and photographs.  We’re thrilled to have him along!
