Parents
"There's really no way to communicate my gratitude for what Salish gave my son. I will never forget the gift of seeing my child be so thoroughly engaged, excited and skillful"
- Scott Lybbert, Monument Elementary Parent
A Parent's Role
Each year, several Salish Sea Expeditions take place simply because a parent has brought the idea to their child's teacher. Parents play an important part in every expedition from start to finish, beginning with fundraising and packing the appropriate clothes and ending with transportation and effective follow up questions for your child.
If you are a parent interested in suggesting a Salish Sea Expeditions experience to your child's teacher, please feel free to contact the Salish office at info@salish.org for additional information and supporting materials.
