Sea Investigators
For Schools and other Groups
These flexible inquiry-based expeditions provide opportunities for groups to explore Puget Sound
using marine science and nautical training. Sea Investigator programs include pre-trip classroom visits by our staff to facilitate students' decision making and planning, as well as a synthesis visit after the expedition. Groups participating in Sea Investigator programs have included 5th-12th grade school classes, boy and girl scout troops, science and sailing clubs, and home school student organizations.

Sea Investigator programs occur throughout Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands, are from 3-5 days in length, and are available March through June (Spring season) and September through October (Fall season).
