For Teachers

Sea Educator programs offer a chance for teachers to learn first-hand about our unique program offerings during a free three-hour, informal sail.  Onboard, teachers can experiment with the use of our oceanographic sampling equipment, receive a tour of the 61'  research vessel, Carlyn, discuss inquiry-based science education with the staff, help as part of the sailing crew, and talk with other teachers who have an interest in getting their students out in the field.Staff Furling or Teacher Sail

Through a partnership with Puget Sound Educational Service District, we are able to offer three continuing education credits (clock hours)  to teachers attending workshops for a nominal fee.
